Hi! My name is Sarah Friedman and welcome to my website!

I am an illustrator and digital artist based in Queens, NY. I am a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology and NYU, holding a BFA in Illustration and a BA in Psychology. I am a huge fan of horror and sci-fi, and love to draw and paint monsters and robots, while striving to create a mood that the viewer can lose themselves in. My psychology background lends to my fascination with visually representing horror and its interaction with the human mind. I am also very interested in mythology and folklore, which influences my character and creature design.

I enjoy both storyboarding and creating finished illustrations, as well as all the conceptualization in between! This includes photography, sculpting and building models, which I incorporate across my works.

Outside of my art, my hobbies include video games, nature walks, travelling and café hopping!
